Fraternity History
Delta Sigma Pi is professional business fraternity founded on November 7, 1907, at the School of Commerce, Accounts, and Finance of New York University.
The fraternity was established by four students: Harold Valentine Jacobs, Alexander Frank Makay, Alfred Moysello, and Henry Albert Tienken. Their goal was to create an organization that would foster professional development, leadership skills, and networking opportunities for business students. In 1975, Delta Sigma Pi officially became the nation's first co-ed business fraternity.
Over the years, Delta Sigma Pi has grown into one of the largest co-ed professional business fraternities in the world, with chapters across the United States and abroad. It offers its members a range of benefits, including career resources, educational programs, and a strong alumni network. Through its values of professionalism, service, and brotherhood, Delta Sigma Pi continues to empower the next generation of leaders.
